The following student organisations are active at the Faculty:
Student Council of the Faculty of Social Work
According to the Higher Education Act and the Statute of the University of Ljubljana, the Student Council represents students at the University and its members. It delegates students to the Academic Assembly, the Senate and certain committees, where they act as full members (see
administrative structure). The Council voices the students' position on all matters concerning students' rights and obligations, on the Faculty acts before they are passed, as well as on candidates for the Dean.
Student Organisation of the Faculty of Social Work and
Association of Students of Social Work
Both organisations carry out seminars, trips, professional excursions and visits in Slovenia and abroad, organise artistic, literary, and other events and many other spare-time activities for students. The Student Organisation of the Faculty is a branch office of the Student Organisation of the University of Ljubljana which funds it.
