In 2012, Social Work & Society will introduce a new section in the journal designed specifically to showcase the work of doctoral students in social work, social welfare, and related fields.
Doctoral students are encouraged to submit papers of 15-25 pages in length (about 4,000 to 6,000 words) on a wide range of topics including social work theory, research methods, practice issues, social welfare history and philosophy, and policy analysis.
All papers will be peer reviewed and subject to high standards for publication. Please submit papers to:
