International conference ”Global Crisis in/and Social Work: The Ambiguities and Challenges” , 4-6. September 2009, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The European partnership of schools of social work from Finland, UK, Germany, Austria and Slovenia (as the coordinating institution) has established the first International Joint Doctoral studies in social work-INDOSOW. INDOSOW is now announcing its international inauguration conference at the University of Ljubljana from 4- 6 September 2009. The conference titled “Global Crisis in/and Social Work: The Ambiguities and Challenges” is organized by the Faculty of Social Work of the University of Ljubljana and sponsored by the EU Socrates Erasmus Programme. Leading international scholars in social work and social policy including the members of the EASSW and IASSW will participate at the conference.
