The Library of the Faculty of Social Work  has a collection of about 36.000 volumes of books and subscribes to 100 current periodicals.  The library provides students, professors, researchers and the general public with academic and professional literature covering the field of social work  and social policy as well as other related sciences included in the study programme, such as sociology, social research, psychology, ethnology, law, psychiatry, psychotherapy and other.

The Library of the Faculty of Social Work forms part of the national online library network and cooperative bibliographic information system and service – COBISS. Access to foreign databases is regulated by consortium agreement between the Library Information Service and database providers; FSW Library has access to all databases that are freely available to the users of the University of Ljubljana.

In a pleasant reading room, the user can find leading Slovenian and foreign journals and a rich selection of referential literature.
