The Faculty cooperates with many foreign higher education institutions and other organisations. It is integrated in the most important European programmes that promote inter-university education and research.
Since 2005, the Faculty has been engaged in
establishing social work study at the University of Colombo.
On the basis of continuing international collaboration, the Faculty has created and coordinates a joint degree doctoral study programme in social work,
INDOSOW, accredited at four European universities. It started to enrol students in 2009.
