The core tasks of the Faculty are education and research.

Within undergraduate, graduate and supplemental (lifelong) studies, it educates and trains students for professional tasks and services in the field of social care and other fields where the knowledge and skills of social work are required or helpful.

As a research institution, the Faculty advances the profession and science of social work, conducts basic and applied research and developmental projects, publishes research findings and implements them in practice and pertinent policies.
